蛊 · 治
Judgement
元亨，利涉大川。先甲三日，后甲三日。
Sublime success. It furthers one to cross the great water. Three days before the jia day, three days after.

山下有风，蛊。君子以振民育德。
Below the mountain, wind: decay. So the superior man stirs the people and strengthens their character.
The Lines
干父之蛊，有子，考无咎，厉终吉。
Setting right the father’s decay: there is a son; the dead one is blameless. Danger, but a good end.
“干父之蛊”，意承考也。
Setting right the father’s decay: the will carries the dead one’s wish.
干母之蛊，不可贞。
Setting right the mother’s decay: one cannot be steadfast.
“干母之蛊”，得中道也。
Setting right the mother’s decay: he finds the middle way.
干父之蛊，小有悔，无大咎。
Setting right the father’s decay: small regret, no great blame.
“干父之蛊”，终“无咎”也。

裕父之蛊，往见吝。
Leaving the father’s decay: going on, one meets pity.
“裕父之蛊”，往未得也。
Leaving the father’s decay: going on, nothing is gained.
干父之蛊，用誉。
Setting right the father’s decay: one is used and praised.
“干父”“用誉”，承以德也。
Setting right the father’s decay: he is carried by virtue.
不事王侯，高尚其事。
Not serving kings and lords; his matter is exalted.
“不事王侯”，志可则也。
Not serving kings and lords: his will may be taken as a model.

风被山挡在脚下：有什么松了，开始腐。此卦讲的是敝，而经文毫不感伤——修父之敝，且一面修一面点名。朽了的物件不必凭吊；要动手收拾。
