女壮，勿用取女。

天下有风，姤。后以施命诰四方。
Below heaven, wind: the coming to meet. So the former kings issued their commands to the four quarters.
The Lines
系于金柅，贞吉；有攸往，见凶，羸豕孚踯躅。
Bound to the metal brake; steadfastness is auspicious. Having somewhere to go, one meets ill; the lean pig’s sincerity tosses and frets.
“系于金柅”，柔道牵也。
Bound to the metal brake: the soft way is held back.
包有鱼，无咎，不利宾。
There is fish in the wrap; no blame. Nothing furthers for guests.
“包有鱼”，义不及宾也。
There is fish in the wrap: by right, it does not reach the guest.
臀无肤，其行次且；厉，无大咎。
No skin on the buttocks; his walk is halting. Danger, but no great blame.
“其行次且”，行未牵也。
His walk is halting: his walk is not yet held.
包无鱼，起凶。
No fish in the wrap; rising brings ill.
“无鱼”之“凶”，远民也。
The ill of no fish: he is far from the people.
以杞包瓜，含章，有陨自天。
With the gourd, he wraps the melon; hidden brilliance; a fall comes from heaven.
九五“含章”，中正也；“有陨自天”，志不舍命也。
The fifth’s hidden brilliance: centrality and correctness. A fall from heaven: his will does not abandon fate.
姤其角，吝，无咎。
Meeting in the horn; pity, but no blame.
“姤其角”，上穷吝也。
Meeting in the horn: above is exhausted — pity.

一阴自下而入，风溜到天底。遇是偶然的，也是有后果的——经文不许因来得轻看这弱者。不要送那不该送的：万物的开头都小而不好看。
